SAT考試難，對于大部分同學來說最難的部分莫過于詞匯題，侯老師在收集和分析一定數量的學生成績單分析后，發(fā)現不管是低分還是高分或者可能已經考過1500的同學，錯誤的題目仍然集中在詞匯部分也就是官方對于“word in context”題型的簡稱。那么詞匯題為什么難?難在什么地方?

　　環(huán)球教育侯老師會在后面的內容中系統給出SAT詞匯題的解決辦法。

　　考SAT的同學大部分還需要考托福，托福的詞匯很簡單，認識即能做對，這里找兩道托福的詞匯題大家先熟悉過渡一下：

　　Q1: The word “modify” in the passage is closet in meaning to

　　A.obtain

　　B.change

　　C.replace

　　D.absorb

　　Q2: The word “drastically” in the passage is closet in meaning to

　　A.gradually

　　B.permanently

　　C.extensively

　　D.possibly

　　上面兩道題目就是托?？荚囌鎸嶋y度的題目，答案分別為B和C。是不是只要認識就能題干的詞匯和選項的詞匯基本就能做對?

　　是的。托福詞匯題的難度就在于你把一些常考的詞匯的常規(guī)意思認識即可做對該題目。那么SAT詞匯不是也需要認識單詞什么意思嗎?

　　是的，需要認識，對于SAT詞匯的考查回從涉及如下幾個層面的考試。

　　例1:Different laws,customs,and opinions exists in the different states,which by a uniform system of laws would be unreasonably invaded(可汗學院 Federal farmer)

　　In line 35”invaded” most nearly means

　　A.Infringed

　　B.Usurped

　　C.Trespassed

　　D.permeated

　　解析：這種題型是SAT詞匯題目里面最簡單的一種題型了，問什么?因為這道題目只是在考查“invade”的基本含義“侵犯”，四個選項如果能認識或者起碼能認識三個，我們就可以知道這道題目選A。

　　這道題目的難度就在詞匯量，那么順便說一下，SAT的詞匯大概需要多少呢?

　　根據侯老師多年的教學理解，如果SAT要取得1400的話或者閱讀拿到350分的話起碼需要10000-12000左右的詞匯量，如果更高分則需要達到12000-15000左右的詞匯量水平。

　　上述題目只給到了大家SAT詞匯題最簡單的一類型題目，及單純考查詞匯量水平。

　　接下來我們接著看詞匯考查的第二大類：近義詞區(qū)分

　　例2.I am weighing my words when i say that you here,who do your work weoo in bringing to completion this great enterprise,and will stand exactly as the soldiers of s few ,and only a few ,of the most famous armies of all the nations stand in history.(可汗學院)

　　As used in the line 21,”enterprise”most nearly means

　　A.Establishment

　　B.Business

　　C.Invention

　　D.undertaking

　　上面這道題目詞匯并不難，但是難在考查近義詞詞匯之間的區(qū)別，這道題目的答案暫不公布，下期內容給出，大家可以先試著做一下這個題目，感受一下難度。

　　如果你已經感覺到SAT詞匯的難度的話，我們接下來真正給到我個人認為比較難的另外一大類詞匯題及第三類，那么這類題目考查什么呢?

　　考查邏輯或者推理，這個層面詞匯題的考查難度的接近GRE verbal 及GRE詞匯題的難度，這樣我們先給大家?guī)椎览}，供大家嘗試和分析。

　　例3. Akira came directly, breaking all tradition. Was that it? Had he followed form—had he asked his mother to speak to his father to approach a go-between—would been more receptive!(OG)

　　5 (65) I ask directly because the use of a go-between takes much time.

　　5 As used in line and line 65,“directly" most nearly means

　　A. frankly.

　　B. confidently.

　　C. without mediation.

　　D. with precision.

　　例4.People object to the demands of those whom they choose to call the strong-minded, because they say “the right of suffrage will make the women masculine.” That is just the difficulty in which we are involved today. Though disfranchised, we have few women in the best sense; we have simply so many reflections, varieties, and dilutions of the masculine gender.(OG)

　　B. claims.

　　C. inquiries.

　　D. desires.

　　例5.As used in line 36, “best” most nearly means

　　A. superior.

　　B. excellent.

　　C. genuine.

　　D. rarest.

　　例3-例5就是屬于考查邏輯或者推理的題型，SAT詞匯題的邏輯推理有兩大模式，下節(jié)課接著講解這兩大推理題型，這里先給出例3，例4和例5的答案，分別為：1，3，1.為什么，大家可以結合這3道題目進行分析和歸納。
